Taking part in the sellout November Showcase were 13 groups and French Horn and Trombone soloists. This year's programme had something for everyone, Swing Band, Second Wind Band, Junior Strings, Guitar Ensemble, Mini Close Harmony, Close Harmony, Junior Choir, Senior Strings, First Wind Band, Brass Ensemble, Big Band, Chamber Choir and Senior Choir.
Our Head of Music, Mrs Jashari said, "They all were a huge credit to RGS, and showed what a range of high-class music-making is going on at the school. It is an incredible testament to the commitment and massive talent of our musicians.
"I would like to thank all the musicians, Stage, Lighting & Sound Team (SLST), staff, parents and Friends of Music for their continued support and enthusiasm for the Music Department, without whom we would be unable to make these events happen. As mentioned on the night, profits from the bar will go towards costumes for Shrek the Musical.
"I look forward to welcoming you all at our traditional RGS Carol Service on Monday 11 December."
